Since posted up a win in the finals of the 2015 bestbet Juvenile, Pullanallnighter has been the valedictorian of the racetrack. Cruising to the lead and in each and every start and leaving nothing to chance. She has aced every test that has come her way and she is currently riding high on a 6 race win streak. What has been even more impressive is how she is winning races. She is not content with getting the best score she wants to be perfect, and in every start after the finals that is what she has attained.
Always dangerous up front, Pullanallnighter has been hitting the lid and taking in lead at the break in each and every one of her races. This has allowed her to steal a lead at the first turn and give a determined effort to the wire to secure the wins. Her toughest race in her current streak came in the race right after the stakes final. There she broke well, took a slim lead to the far turn, lost the lead to her chasing rival, and then battled back all the way up the stretch to win by a nose at the wire.
Showing no signs of slowing down, her 6th win in a row was just as impressive as her first one in the stakes final. Beating the box, she was once again a jump in front of the field heading to the turn and in the end that is all she would need for the streak to continue. Stealing away lengths at the first turn, she coasted all the way down the backside, through the far turn, and all the way up the stretch on the lead to secure the easy victory. Her speedy 30.50 second clocking was her second in a row and her fifth in her last 6 efforts below the 31.00 second barrier.
Looking at her lines you truly realize the talents of this fantastic pup. I know she won the stakes race, I know she has 6 in a row, but her heart is on display if you dig deeper. Let’s look at her last 17 races, when she has clear back in grade D. If you do, you can see what I mean. This little girl has finished in the quiniela in 16 of those efforts. Want more, her current streak in the top two positions, including all rounds and the finals of a stakes race, is 12 straight, and she has won 10 of those 17 efforts. This little girl is for real and is currently the best greyhound at the racetrack.
We all know how hard it is to win the next start after a stakes final, but to keep the stretch going, and going, and going, and going on is oh so impressive. Kudos have to go out to her trainer Traci Chase, the Blanchard kennel, and everyone else connected with this stellar greyhound. Big things lie ahead for her as we have several stakes racing on tap in the coming months. The big one, the $50,000 James J Patton Silver Cup, starts in late February and it is going to be fun to watch and see if she can get back to back titles. Good luck in the future and get used to hearing her name, PULLANALLNIGHTER.
